With our newly launched Workspaces & User Invite feature, you can now better organize your links, manage multiple teams or projects, and share access with your teammates securely — all from a single dashboard.

Here’s a breakdown of everything you need to know about how Workspaces and User Invites work in CutMe Short:

1. Creating a New Workspace

To get started with Workspaces:

• Head to the top-left corner of your dashboard.

• Click on the default workspace name.

• Select “Create Workspace.”

You can create multiple workspaces to separate your personal, client-based, or team-specific projects.

Note: Workspace creation limits depend on your plan (detailed in section 10).

2. Switching Between Workspaces

Managing multiple workspaces is effortless.

To switch between them:

• Click on the same workspace dropdown in the top-left.

• Select any of the available workspaces to view and manage that workspace’s links, domains, and analytics.

3. Renaming a Workspace

To change the name of an existing workspace:

• Go to Settings > Workspace.

• At the top section, you’ll see the workspace name input field.

• Update the name and it will reflect across your dashboard.

4. Shared Workspace Indicator

To quickly identify shared workspaces:

• Look for a shared icon next to the workspace name in the dropdown list.

• This helps differentiate between personal and team/shared workspaces at a glance.

5. Inviting Users to a Workspace

To invite team members into your workspace:

• Navigate to Settings > Workspace.

• Click “Invite Member.”

• Enter the user’s email address.

Depending on the user:

• If they already have a CutMe Short account, they’ll receive an invite they can accept.

• If they don’t have an account, they can sign up first and then accept the invite from their email.

6. Accepting Invites & Notifications

Once your teammate accepts the invite:

• You will receive a notification inside the CutMe Short platform confirming that the invite was accepted.

• They will immediately gain access to the shared workspace and its data.

7. Managing & Revoking User Access

To revoke access at any time:

• Go to Settings > Workspace.

• Click the delete icon beside the user you want to remove.

After revocation:

• The user will receive a notification informing them that access has been revoked.

• The original invite link will also be disabled and cannot be reused.

8. Permissions: What Shared Users Can and Cannot Do

Users invited to your workspace will have specific permissions:

✅ Can Access:

• Create, edit, or delete links within that workspace.

• View all link analytics.

• Use all connected custom domains.

❌ Cannot Access:

• Your profile details (e.g., change/reset password).

• Billing and payment settings.

• Deleting or renaming the workspace.

This ensures collaborators have the right level of access without compromising account security or ownership.

9. Notifications for Key Events

CutMe Short now supports internal notifications for important workspace events:

• When a user accepts an invitation.

• When their access has been revoked.

You’ll see these in the notifications panel inside your dashboard.

10. Plan Limits: Startup vs. Professional

Here are the current limits based on your plan:

• Workspace Creation: Up to 5

• User Invites per Workspace: Up to 3

🚀 Professional Plan

• Workspace Creation: Up to 10

• User Invites per Workspace: Up to 5
