At CutMe Short (operated by RAPIDBYTE TECHNOLOGIES PRIVATE LIMITED), you stay in control of your data and can delete it at any time. This page explains how to delete the data we hold, including any data we obtained from social media accounts you have connected.

Deleting data from a connected social media account

When you connect a social media account — Threads, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, or X (Twitter) — to CutMe Short, we store only the limited information needed to provide our scheduling and publishing features. This may include your profile identifier and username, an access token, and content or analytics for posts you create or publish through CutMe Short.

You can delete this data at any time by disconnecting the account:

1. Sign in at https://www.app.cutmeshort.com

2. Go to Social, then open the Settings tab → https://www.app.cutmeshort.com/social?tab=settings

3. Select the social account you want to remove

4. Click Delete, then confirm

Once you confirm, CutMe Short immediately revokes its access to that account and deletes all data associated with it — including the access token, profile information, and any stored content or analytics — from the CutMe Short system.

Revoking access directly from each platform

In addition to disconnecting inside CutMe Short, you can revoke our app's access from the platform itself. Disconnecting inside CutMe Short also deletes the data we already stored; revoking at the platform stops any further access.

• Threads — Settings → Account → Website permissions → remove CutMe Short

• Instagram — Settings → Apps and websites → Active → remove CutMe Short

• Facebook — Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations → remove CutMe Short

• LinkedIn — Settings → Data privacy → Permitted services → remove CutMe Short

• X (Twitter) — Settings → Security and account access → Apps and sessions → Connected apps → revoke CutMe Short

You can also email support@cutmeshort.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" from the email address associated with your account. We will verify your identity and process the request.
